Background

Working with EastWest Advisers (EWA), 3i-Strategy helped a leading, global audit software company successfully apply for a coveted Asia Gateway Voucher from the Victorian Government and to build a strategic renewal for their Indian business subsidiary.  The Voucher helped to support these following export related activities.

Building the Renewal Strategy

3i-Strategy’s deep experience in the fast-changing global tax and accounting industry provided the client with an initial strategic assessment and actionable insights on their addressable market in addition to key trends around cloud adoption and digital enablement.  With the help of a highly respected tax technology entrepreneur, Dinesh Tejwani and his firm Think North Consulting (TNC), we were able to connect with senior professionals and firms in-country.  The client received valuable market feedback on the brand awareness and localisation of their product and platforms.   

Journey

Being aligned to government requirements, the Asia Voucher funding was just the beginning. Analysis of upcoming regulatory reforms helped the client to develop an accelerated near-future product growth strategy and potential revenue models.  Working with their sales and operations leadership, an in-depth analysis of their business development process allowed a comprehensive strategic, relationship focused marketing and communication strategy to be developed which looked at establishment of new sales offices across the country.

Outcome

The client’s APAC leadership requested an operational and plan and detailed financial forecasts to be developed based on these and other recommendations which they could use for implementation.

In addition to creating a marketing and public relations campaign to build brand awareness, 3i-Strategy, TNC and EWA designed a Sales Effectiveness Strategy which included hiring of sales and marketing professionals as well as a comprehensive partnership plan.

The result provided the client a clear roadmap on how to build a leading value proposition in a fast-developing market.
